"I wanted to tell you how much we enjoy our wide plank pine floor. You installed it in our kitchen, living room, hallway and stairs two and a half years ago. We have a simple little house on a country acreage and wanted the floor to look rustic and natural. Well, it just gets better looking as it ages. The inevitable little dents and scratches just add to the rustic country look we wanted. We have two teenage girls, their friends and at least one cat in the house at all times...they put a lot of wear on a floor. The carpets and linoleum just wither under the strain, but the wide plank pine floor has stood up well.

A year ago ... an inspector came to assess our house and his first comment was, "What a beautiful floor...very unual". Bank inspectors no not say much, so it made an impression.

We are now adding an extension to our house and are looking forward to more of the same wide plank pine for our enlarged eating area. As I had mentioned, we have it in our kitchen and and it has stood up to spills of all sorts, including water left standing from a leaky fridge...I just wipe it up with a damp mop."
